Welcome to Lane SEO, an SEO tool designed to help you optimise your website's performance and visibility on search engines. By using Lane SEO, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms of service. Please review these terms carefully.

Client Website: a website being monitored by You, by using the Service;
Features: The tools and functionalities provided by Lane SEO, including keyword and web page analysis.
Service: The Lane SEO platform and related Features.
Subscription: Your subscription for access to and use of the Service, which is governed by these Terms.
User: An individual authorised by you to use the Service on your behalf, associated with your Account.
We/Us/Our: Lane SEO and its affiliates.
You/Your: The person or entity using the Service and agreeing to these Terms.

3. Description of Service

Lane SEO provides tools and features for search engine optimization, including keyword analysis, web page analysis, and other related services ("Features"). The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

4. User Account

You must create an account to access Features of the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to notify Lane SEO immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security.

5. Subscription and Payment

Lane SEO may offer free and paid subscription plans with varying levels of access to Features.
Paid subscriptions require a valid payment method and are billed on a recurring basis.
You agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your subscription plan.
Lane SEO reserves the right to change its fees at any time with prior notice to you.

6. Use of Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You are prohibited from using the Service to engage in any activity that is illegal, harmful, or that interferes with the use of the Service by others.
Lane SEO reserves the right to terminate or restrict your access to the Service for any violation of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property associated with Lane SEO are the property of Lane SEO or its licensors.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes.
You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without explicit permission from Lane SEO.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that your data will be collected and processed on servers located in the UK, regardless of your country of residence.
Lane SEO complies with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR for users in the European Economic Area (EEA), and other relevant privacy regulations.

9. Limitation of Liability

Lane SEO is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.
The total liability of Lane SEO for any claim arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

Except where Lane SEO states otherwise in these terms of service, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is,” “as available,” and Lane SEO expressly disclaims any other assurances terms, conditions, representations and warranties, express or implied, including without limitation assurances, terms, conditions, representations and warranties (1) of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose (even if advised of the purpose), accuracy, title, and/or non-infringement, or (2) that use of or access to the service (or any portion thereof) will be uninterrupted or error free, will not have any impact on your systems or websites, or will meet all of your requirements.

Lane SEO shall not be liable for the availability, performance, limitations, capacity, or responsiveness of the internet or of your computers, networks, servers, websites (including without limitation your Client Website(s)), or its facilities, or for any third-party system (including without limitation any hosting provider). Certain Search Engine Optimization (“SEO”) auditing and/or monitoring tools available on the Lane SEO platform may increase server demands. You are solely responsible for managing the speed and frequency of SEO auditing and monitoring tools and for the capacity of the servers hosting your Client Website(s).

11. Modifications to Service and Terms

Lane SEO reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
Lane SEO may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
The Scottish courts will have proper and exclusive jurisdiction and venue with respect to any disputes arising from or related to the subject matter of these Terms.
